A few years back my wife an I were house hunting with another realtor.After a month we could tell the realtor was kind of pressuring us to buy even though we had not found our ideal homeneedless to say things did not work out.Fast forward a few years of continuing to rent and our landlords raised our rent. Alright, it is time to start looking to buy our own home again.Since our first meeting with Mike and Jessica they went out of their way to ask us questions and help us feel confident that we would find the right home . Sat down with us for an hour or so and asked us every question about what our ideal home would be. Leaving our first meeting, we had a great feeling about this next go round at house hunting.Set us up in the MLS search and we were on our way. They had vendors to help us with getting a home loan but I work for a mortgage company so we were set with that but awesome that even with the very first steps in home buying, Mike and Jessica want nothing more than to help. They worked professionally and quickly with our lending broker, even though they had never met or worked with him before. Nothing but stellar realtors.Jessica took us out a few times and we saw a home that we wanted to put an offer on. Jessica helped us figure out the right offer for the house by finding comparable houses that sold in the area, checking out the listing agent and seller to get a feel as to what was what their sweet spot for a price would be. She also helped in wording the offer so that we were covered as far as termite damage and home warranties. This woman knows what she is doing! After a few counter offers, the owners accepted our offer. WOW, this might really happen for us!Now the inspection and contingency period. Jessica had a whole list of vendors from home inspectors, to foundation and roofing companies for inspecting the bones of the house. The finishes were great but there were a few major issues with the house. About $19,000 worth. Yikes! We cant afford this mortgage with almost 20K worth or repairs! Jessica helped set our minds at ease and walked us through how we ask for help with the repairs from the sellers. Again, we came to an agreement and onto the next step.Mind you this is our first time buying a home. We had plenty of questions throughout every step and Jessica was always willing to help, any time of the day, via phone, email or text. If Jessica was not available (which was not very often) Mike or one of their knowledgeable assistants was always available to us. This is a great team!Our loan got funded, our escrow papers were drafted. We signed, we paid and recorded.We were so excited! It came the day to get our keys and both Jessica and Mike met us. It was even their wedding anniversary and they were willing to meet us when it was convenient for us. They hung with us and were genuinely excited that my wife and I were home owners.There is nothing but compliments that we can say about Mike and Jessica Wolf. We love our new home and know that we would not have found it so quickly and easily if it were not for these two. As first time rental property buyers my wife and I purchased a condo unit this month and we couldnt have been happier using Jessica Wolf (Ascent Real Estate, Inc.) as our realtor. We gave Jessica Wolf and her team five-star rating based on our experience. We made a decision to diversify some our investment into rental property last December. It is not easy to find a REALLY good realtor. I would like to have a realtor who can 1)provide me accurate and detailed information about listing properties; 2)give me the advises on how to make the best offer; 3)respond my questions or requests promptly and proceed the final escrow quickly and smoothly. Luckily one of our friends referred Jessica Wolf to us. Jessica called, emailed and sent a letter to me immediately after my friends introduction. She asked me the details about the purpose, property functions and size, and interested areas of my planned purchase. She set up automatic website update and told me several website links for property search and property rental research. We told Jessica that we selected several properties in January. Her response was quick and full of details about the properties we selected and the sale history of the properties in their neighborhood. She also discussed with us about the best offering prices that could made our offers to be highly acceptable offers. She arranged open-house with listing agents. She showed us the properties and gave us advises on how much extra work and money we need to put to make these properties rentable. After viewing several properties with Jessica we made a final decision on a condo property because of its location, condo condition, sales prices and good potential rental income. Jessica knew that several buyers made similar offers and she immediately proposed a new offer term favored by the seller but without increasing our offering price. We submitted our modified offer and Jessica made a follow-up call to the seller. Our offer was accepted immediately. In the next few days, Jessica and her team arranged final inspection and finished all the paperwork. The escrow was closed in two weeks after the seller accepted our offer. On escrow day Jessica gave me the keys for our first rental property, a bottle of champagne and a portfolio binder that contains all the information for the rental property management. The condo unit is occupied by the tenant now and our dream on investing rental property became a true story. I told my story to my friends and two of them decided to make a contact with Jessica after months of frustration of searching their rental property and principal residential property with other agents. My wife and I decide to continue our investment on rental property. Of cause Jessica will be our buyer agent for our next rental property.

I have never worked with a team so worthy of a Yelp review as Jessica and Mike Wolf so this seemed like the appropriate time to write my first review. I had an opportunity to move 1500 miles away from the only home I had ever known on what seemed like very short notice. I did all of the preapproval paperwork and began the search. I cannot even begin to express how thankful I am to have been referred to the Wolfs.I initially spoke with Mike to discuss my needs and desires. He was so thorough in finding the perfect location for me that fit my every need and budget. Mike sent me hundreds of houses to look through based on what I asked for. I narrowed my choices down and ultimately set up one day to view as many houses as I could. The week before I flew out, my preapproval lender went MIA. I couldnt get ahold of my rep to get the preapproval letter; I was frantic. The Wolfs set me up with a few lenders in SD who made it their priority to get me set up ASAP.I flew into San Diego with a tight schedule of 8 hours to see every house on my list. Jessica was on top of it all. We saw all of the houses I had listed and a couple more she thought I would like. After our whirlwind day, she dropped me off at the airport with a hug. Two days later, we decided to make an offer on my two favorite houses. I felt like Jessica took it so personally that I moved into a house I loved that she was going to do everything in her power to make sure I won the bid. Ultimately, we won both. Though I was moving by myself, I say we because it would have never been possible without her expertise and the team I had with the Wolfs.We went into contract on my favorite house, with me being 1500 miles away in Texas. Everything a potential homeowner should do (inspections, final walk-throughs, appraisal, etc) she handled in lieu of me. She even videoed my final walk-through and posted it on YouTube for me. Jessica also made sure I knew all of the important contact information such as utilities.There is no way to possibly thank her enough for all of her hard work in getting me into my perfect house so far away from my home. She also left a gorgeous housewarming gift for me to receive once I arrived. Since I have moved to San Diego, she keeps in touch regularly to make sure I am thriving in my new home.If you are looking for an agent who will treat you like one of their own family members, do yourself a favor and work with the Wolfs. Mike and Jessica are so awesome that we used them for not one, but two home purchases! We worked with Mike in 2010 when we purchased our first home in Golden Hill. We wanted someone who was very familiar with the metro San Diego area. Mike was very experienced and knowledgible and helped guide us (first time homebuyers) through the whole process. Mike and Jessica are pros! They sold our condo quickly and for the price we wanted. There were a few instances in which we didnt take Mikes advice (for example, when we decided what price to list it as) but soon learned that he had been right all along.
